A wrecked life

to the ones who read my heart, sorry so long.

Something has been on my heart for a while.

For those who know me i started a new job several months ago. I work in property and evidence division of the local Police department in my area. I see shattered lives all day. Most of the time I can keep it together, it my job not to lose it in front of the public, so you will here my feelings. One of my jobs is to make a detailed report of the condition of the vehicles and contents involved in a crime. It doesn't seem like a too hard of a job. (warning- it is about to get a little graphic) but sometimes we get a vehicle involved in a fatal crash. As i look at the mangled metal left behind, the scattered contents of was once part of a car, the blood, the broking glass, the broking lives left behind. Sometimes there is a car seat in the vehicle, As a father of a three year old little boy, it's very hard to keep yourself together. I will call home just to check on my family.

I have a hard time understanding why, nobody knows why, but there life is over. There life didn't end the way they thought. They got in the car and it was over. They can't come back, or bring them back. Scattered lives.People always ask why, maybe it was because thought they could have just one more round, and still be able to drive home. maybe they just wanted to see how fast it really would go. Maybe they had a hard time smoking, talking on the phone, eating a big mac, changing the CD. There is many things that could happen, that's not my point. the point is that this kind of things happen all over the world. Were would you go if it happened to you?

I just pray that your life was not (a) lost. God can save you from the wrecks of life. Trust in his word and he can save you from the hurt. Times are going to get tuff but don't give up.
God loves you so much that he sent his Son for us. He wrote a several thousand page love letter to us that nobody has ever been able to prove otherwise. He loves us.

A blank feeling

A Morning of blank feeling (scared, shocked and happy all at once)

For the past couple of weeks I have been going walking/jogging almost every morning at about 5:30 in the morning. sometimes in the evening the family will enjoy a nice walk together. Me and my wife will put the little Guy in the stroller an set out for a good time of walking, and talking about the day. I enjoy this time together, no phone or T.V. In the mornings I take my Ipod to listen to sermons from Word of life church in St.Jo. I was listening to a service Born after midnight this past Saturday morning. It was about 7:00 in the morning. My wife didn’t have to get up to go to work so I went late on my walk.

Pastor Brian was talking about when Paul preached to after midnight, and how sometimes we just want to go to sleep but maybe we should stay up after midnight with God. By this time I was about 15 minutes into my walk. That when it happened, I saw my 2 year old son running up the middle of the road , saying ”Da Da”. My heart just dropped to the ground. At that moment I had no feeling in me. I didn’t know how he got there at first. My mind started going crazy, I was crying and just glad to be holding him. I picked him up as fast as I could get to him, to be honest I don’t even remember if I ran to him or not, it’s a blank.

I do remember picking him up and hugging him. kissing him. When I saw him we were about 1/4 mile or better from our home. We were not on my road. We were several roads away. I can’t believe a 2 year old almost 3 could open up a front door and a security door and chase me down. The image is still in my head and it most likely be there for the rest of my life.

He went all this way untouched. That’s when it hit me. He was not crying or scared. He was happy because that morning Angels was watching him and they carried him to me. He was not afraid because God was holding his hand. He was not lost because Jesus was his guide. I learned a huge lesson that morning. I will never doubt that God was there and the protection he had.

Psalms 91:9-11 in the (NLT) If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.

This is what kept my family together that morning. Not one car came down the road. Not on thing touched him. he came straight to me like he had a map. He was not afraid. Why? Because psalms 91 lived in him. God I can’t tell you thanks enough, my tears will never dry, my heart will never change, My love will never cease. I love you and thank you, Amen.

Revive this revival

Revive this revival. America is need of a renewed and restored Love. We are so wrapped up in us we don't have time for The ONE. How do we get this. We start with a passion for Christ, a renewal and refreshment of our faith. One of the events that has affected the modern day Church was the Azusa Street Revival in 1906-1909. How could just a couple people having a little bible study could do so much. Over 1 million churches have been started due to that little bible study. Let me say that one more time. over 1 million churches have been started due to that little bible study. 1,000,000 Churches. OK take a deep breath, 600,000,000 people. 600 million people have been affected by this revival. Just think a couple of people decided to take God's testimony and study it out. Azusa street has impacted the world. It has been almost 100 years since we had a real revival. We have a week here and a week there. But were is the revival gone. Is it "Gone with the Wind".

The message Bible says "No prolonged infancies among us, please. We'll not tolerate babes in the woods, small children who are an easy mark for impostors. God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love—like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love. " Ephesians 4:14-16

We are to grow up healthy in God. but, we can't even make a spark. We as a Church need to have a Azusa style flame. The only way to start a fire is to have a spark. We take that spark and we feed it to it grows to a little flame. We protect that flame from the wind of the world. We keep building up that flame to we have a bond fire. As the fire grows people will come to see what is going on. People are drawn to fire. If they see the fire in you, they will see the revival.

As the Church proclaiming God's message, we need to live his message. There is two fires we can have a consuming(to absorb; engross) fire or a consumed(to undergo destruction; waste away) fire. Which one is you?

What a testimony!

Have you ever been at Church or work and you just heard a testimony that would make you cry?
Let me tell you, I have heard testimonies on T.V. or in movies that has kept Puffs(tissue) in business. We will hear a story about someone's life and take it for face value. The tears of joy, sorrow, they come pouring. We believe every word they say. We go as far as telling someone the next day what we heard. Why? Was it that powerful? Did it impact your life that much? Was it strong enough to move mountains? We will hear a man's or woman's testimony, and listen. But what about God's testimony? Have you took it at face value?

In 1 John 5:6-11(The Message)
Jesus—the Divine Christ! He experienced a life-giving birth and a death-killing death. Not only birth from the womb, but baptismal birth of his ministry and sacrificial death. And all the while the Spirit is confirming the truth, the reality of God's presence at Jesus' baptism and crucifixion, bringing those occasions alive for us. A triple testimony: the Spirit, the Baptism, the Crucifixion. And the three in perfect agreement.

If we take human testimony at face value, how much more should we be reassured when God gives testimony as he does here, testifying concerning his Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God inwardly confirms God's testimony. Whoever refuses to believe in effect calls God a liar, refusing to believe God's own testimony regarding his Son.

This is the testimony in essence: God gave us eternal life; the life is in his Son. So, whoever has the Son, has life; whoever rejects the Son, rejects life.

Look how this starts: Jesus—the Divine Christ!

The testimony starts out Jesus-the all-powerful, almighty, ambrosial, anointed, angelic, beautiful, blissful, celestial, glorious, eternal, exalted, consecrated, deistic, excellent, holy, spiritual, godly, hallowed, heavenly, magnificent, immaculate, mystical, perfect, unearthly, sanctified, splendid, superhuman, supernatural Christ! just to name a few.

This testimony has been told for 2000 years all around the world, in every tongue of every nation, but we don't take it at face value. We will listen to bro. somebody or sis. somebody else
but what about the testimony God has giving us. It's not like so many, I did this wrong or this and now I am free of that. God's testimony is how you got free from that. The Spirit, the Baptism, and the Crucifixion. that is the testimony. This should be your testimony.

We should take up our cross and follow him. We should tell God's testimony. "Whoever believes in the Son of God inwardly confirms God's testimony. Whoever refuses to believe in effect calls God a liar, refusing to believe God's own testimony regarding his Son." Don't you think that is a little more powerful then when I quit that? Human testimony is a good way to share the Word, but maybe we should finish our testimony with God's testimony. Because without it, we would not have one.

I close with the end of the scripture: "This is the testimony in essence: God gave us eternal life; the life is in his Son. So, whoever has the Son, has life; whoever rejects the Son, rejects life."
I think that is a good way sum up this.

Going Home

I just got to thinking about the bridge in Minnesota that fell during rush hour 2 weeks ago. What if one of us would have been there, or been one of the victims. Life can come so fast at us. Remember there is no tomorrow. Stop for a minute, reflect on your life.

Where are you? I'm not talking about, at home or work. I'm talking about life, Eternal life. My hearts go out to the family's that lost loved ones. What if? is a strong thought, but what if you would have been there? If you were driving home today or later and the world come to a end. People every second of the day deal with this question. Where will we go from here? There is only two places you can go from this earth. To Heaven or Hades(Hell). Stop and ponder this.

My life was a wreck before a became friends with my Savior. As I tell people" I lived one HELL of a life" but that life is dead. I have a new life, a life of happiness. I don't seek the world, I seek the Kingdom. We all have a chance to have a great life, life. For so many, when the gate is closed, it will be to late. So if you was to die NOW, where would you go? Just because when you was 12 you prayed the prayer. That doesn't mean you're in. Jesus says" Keep my commandments." Let me ask you another question, If Jesus was standing beside you right now, Would you acted different? Would you not take that drink, or have sex with that other person besides your spouse? Would you take that item from work? Would you? Would you? Would you? Let me tell you, Jesus is beside you. Everything you do, he is beside you.

Let me talk to those who don't no where. 1st Cry out to Jesus, ask for forgiveness and salvation of your sins, 2nd Go to Church, if you don't have one, find one. Talk to the Pastor about ways to change your lifestyle. They can help you go through a eternal life change. 3rd Talk to God and read his word.

Jesus died for you so you could live, but you can only live if "Keep his commandments."

So what if you were on that bridge? Would you go Home?

How close is your walk?

How close is your walk?

This past Sunday I went to a gospel singing at a Church I attended when I was young. There was a young man around 16? that sung a old song that got me thinking of this. We all need "Just a closer walk with thee" In Deuteronomy 13:4 it says "You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him." That very plainly tells how to serve God, but do we? Many people hear the Word but they don't listen.

Read the words to this song. Let them set on your heart.

JUST A CLOSER WALK WITH THEE

I am weak, but Thou art strong;
Jesus, keep me from all wrong;
I'll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Precious Jesus, hear my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Through this world of toil and snares,
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Precious Jesus, hear my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

When my feeble life is o'er,
Time for me will be no more;
Guide me gently, safely o'er
To Thy kingdom shore, to Thy shore.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Precious Jesus, hear my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

If you continue to read in Deuteronomy it will tell you why you should have a closer walk with the.(I will put the context at the end for those who would like to read it.) Many people stray from god, they lose strength because of the wickedness snares of the devil. We are weak, but if we turn to the strong. He will take the pains, suffering, and fears away, because He is strong. The devil does not have a chance against God. Life is not all about us, It is all about God the Father, Jesus the son of man, and the Holy spirit. Most people have heard God described as the Alpha and the Omega. We need to understand that he was in the beginning and is the end. We need to realize the short time we are on this earth is just the beginning of our life. That the life we live in now is not to be about me, it's about him. It is about eternity.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Precious Jesus, hear my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Here is the chapter for further study, God Bless
Deuteronomy 13
1 “If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, 2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’ 3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. 5 But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage, to entice you from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk. So you shall put away the evil from your midst.
6 “If your brother, the son of your mother, your son or your daughter, the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, secretly entices you, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods,’ which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers, 7 of the gods of the people which are all around you, near to you or far off from you, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth, 8 you shall not consent to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him or conceal him; 9 but you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. 10 And you shall stone him with stones until he dies, because he sought to entice you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 11 So all Israel shall hear and fear, and not again do such wickedness as this among you.
12 “If you hear someone in one of your cities, which the LORD your God gives you to dwell in, saying, 13 ‘Corrupt men have gone out from among you and enticed the inhabitants of their city, saying, “Let us go and serve other gods”’—which you have not known— 14 then you shall inquire, search out, and ask diligently. And if it is indeed true and certain that such an abomination was committed among you, 15 you shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying it, all that is in it and its livestock—with the edge of the sword. 16 And you shall gather all its plunder into the middle of the street, and completely burn with fire the city and all its plunder, for the LORD your God. It shall be a heap forever; it shall not be built again. 17 So none of the accursed things shall remain in your hand, that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of His anger and show you mercy, have compassion on you and multiply you, just as He swore to your fathers, 18 because you have listened to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep all His commandments which I command you today, to do what is right in the eyes of the LORD your God.

The perfect garden

A Perfect Garden

One day as I was walking, I started thinking about my life. I started day dreaming , I saw a Small narrow gate down a rough path. As I got closer I saw a arch of flowers over the gate. I opened the gate and walked into this Garden , the Son was shinning down with this orange glow on all the beautiful flowers. You could smell the amazing scent of the most freshest roses. As I got closer to them, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The stems were as straight as a arrow, without thorns. The petals was the most pure red (like blood). I bent down to touch one of the blooms and it was as soft as the finest silk. I wanted to pick it and take it home with me, but it was so beautiful I didn’t want to hurt it. I looked around and all I could see was beauty. Everything was placed just perfectly.

That’s when I noticed I was just at the beginning. I saw a stone path that was going into the garden farther. I followed the path trying to absorb the beauty around me but it was to much to handle. How could someone make something so perfect? I saw a stone bench under a tree from afar. I walked over and sat down. I started contemplating other gardens I have seen in my life. People try all kinds of things to make a pretty garden, so people would say it’s so pretty. They will put in fountains, statues, bird baths, ponds, water falls, stone walls, trees and shrubs, the list could go on. They watch all kinds of gardening shows on HGTV, buy books to get ideas. We spend tons of money, but it’s still not perfect. But, This garden looked as if it had been here forever. There was not one out of place plant. The grass was the darkest green you could imagine.

The stone raised beds looked like they were formed on the spot. Thats when it dawned on me, the tree was the focal point. It was also the center of the garden. Everything in the garden was there to accent the tree. It had the most ripest fruit ever. I reached up and took one off and bit in. It was the sweetest taste I have ever had. It was like a power drink. I felt so energized afterwards. Yum-Yum. I felt 10 years younger. For a garden of this size, it must take hundreds of people to keep it up. There was not ONE WEED in the garden. Words truly can’t describe this garden. Only the hand of God could make something so perfect, then it hit me, I was in heaven’s garden.

This just part of something I'm working on from Matthew 13. Just thought I would share with you.
God Bless
