A blank feeling

A Morning of blank feeling (scared, shocked and happy all at once)

For the past couple of weeks I have been going walking/jogging almost every morning at about 5:30 in the morning. sometimes in the evening the family will enjoy a nice walk together. Me and my wife will put the little Guy in the stroller an set out for a good time of walking, and talking about the day. I enjoy this time together, no phone or T.V. In the mornings I take my Ipod to listen to sermons from Word of life church in St.Jo. I was listening to a service Born after midnight this past Saturday morning. It was about 7:00 in the morning. My wife didn’t have to get up to go to work so I went late on my walk.

Pastor Brian was talking about when Paul preached to after midnight, and how sometimes we just want to go to sleep but maybe we should stay up after midnight with God. By this time I was about 15 minutes into my walk. That when it happened, I saw my 2 year old son running up the middle of the road , saying ”Da Da”. My heart just dropped to the ground. At that moment I had no feeling in me. I didn’t know how he got there at first. My mind started going crazy, I was crying and just glad to be holding him. I picked him up as fast as I could get to him, to be honest I don’t even remember if I ran to him or not, it’s a blank.

I do remember picking him up and hugging him. kissing him. When I saw him we were about 1/4 mile or better from our home. We were not on my road. We were several roads away. I can’t believe a 2 year old almost 3 could open up a front door and a security door and chase me down. The image is still in my head and it most likely be there for the rest of my life.

He went all this way untouched. That’s when it hit me. He was not crying or scared. He was happy because that morning Angels was watching him and they carried him to me. He was not afraid because God was holding his hand. He was not lost because Jesus was his guide. I learned a huge lesson that morning. I will never doubt that God was there and the protection he had.

Psalms 91:9-11 in the (NLT) If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.

This is what kept my family together that morning. Not one car came down the road. Not on thing touched him. he came straight to me like he had a map. He was not afraid. Why? Because psalms 91 lived in him. God I can’t tell you thanks enough, my tears will never dry, my heart will never change, My love will never cease. I love you and thank you, Amen.

Revive this revival

Revive this revival. America is need of a renewed and restored Love. We are so wrapped up in us we don't have time for The ONE. How do we get this. We start with a passion for Christ, a renewal and refreshment of our faith. One of the events that has affected the modern day Church was the Azusa Street Revival in 1906-1909. How could just a couple people having a little bible study could do so much. Over 1 million churches have been started due to that little bible study. Let me say that one more time. over 1 million churches have been started due to that little bible study. 1,000,000 Churches. OK take a deep breath, 600,000,000 people. 600 million people have been affected by this revival. Just think a couple of people decided to take God's testimony and study it out. Azusa street has impacted the world. It has been almost 100 years since we had a real revival. We have a week here and a week there. But were is the revival gone. Is it "Gone with the Wind".

The message Bible says "No prolonged infancies among us, please. We'll not tolerate babes in the woods, small children who are an easy mark for impostors. God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love—like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love. " Ephesians 4:14-16

We are to grow up healthy in God. but, we can't even make a spark. We as a Church need to have a Azusa style flame. The only way to start a fire is to have a spark. We take that spark and we feed it to it grows to a little flame. We protect that flame from the wind of the world. We keep building up that flame to we have a bond fire. As the fire grows people will come to see what is going on. People are drawn to fire. If they see the fire in you, they will see the revival.

As the Church proclaiming God's message, we need to live his message. There is two fires we can have a consuming(to absorb; engross) fire or a consumed(to undergo destruction; waste away) fire. Which one is you?

What a testimony!

Have you ever been at Church or work and you just heard a testimony that would make you cry?
Let me tell you, I have heard testimonies on T.V. or in movies that has kept Puffs(tissue) in business. We will hear a story about someone's life and take it for face value. The tears of joy, sorrow, they come pouring. We believe every word they say. We go as far as telling someone the next day what we heard. Why? Was it that powerful? Did it impact your life that much? Was it strong enough to move mountains? We will hear a man's or woman's testimony, and listen. But what about God's testimony? Have you took it at face value?

In 1 John 5:6-11(The Message)
Jesus—the Divine Christ! He experienced a life-giving birth and a death-killing death. Not only birth from the womb, but baptismal birth of his ministry and sacrificial death. And all the while the Spirit is confirming the truth, the reality of God's presence at Jesus' baptism and crucifixion, bringing those occasions alive for us. A triple testimony: the Spirit, the Baptism, the Crucifixion. And the three in perfect agreement.

If we take human testimony at face value, how much more should we be reassured when God gives testimony as he does here, testifying concerning his Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God inwardly confirms God's testimony. Whoever refuses to believe in effect calls God a liar, refusing to believe God's own testimony regarding his Son.

This is the testimony in essence: God gave us eternal life; the life is in his Son. So, whoever has the Son, has life; whoever rejects the Son, rejects life.

Look how this starts: Jesus—the Divine Christ!

The testimony starts out Jesus-the all-powerful, almighty, ambrosial, anointed, angelic, beautiful, blissful, celestial, glorious, eternal, exalted, consecrated, deistic, excellent, holy, spiritual, godly, hallowed, heavenly, magnificent, immaculate, mystical, perfect, unearthly, sanctified, splendid, superhuman, supernatural Christ! just to name a few.

This testimony has been told for 2000 years all around the world, in every tongue of every nation, but we don't take it at face value. We will listen to bro. somebody or sis. somebody else
but what about the testimony God has giving us. It's not like so many, I did this wrong or this and now I am free of that. God's testimony is how you got free from that. The Spirit, the Baptism, and the Crucifixion. that is the testimony. This should be your testimony.

We should take up our cross and follow him. We should tell God's testimony. "Whoever believes in the Son of God inwardly confirms God's testimony. Whoever refuses to believe in effect calls God a liar, refusing to believe God's own testimony regarding his Son." Don't you think that is a little more powerful then when I quit that? Human testimony is a good way to share the Word, but maybe we should finish our testimony with God's testimony. Because without it, we would not have one.

I close with the end of the scripture: "This is the testimony in essence: God gave us eternal life; the life is in his Son. So, whoever has the Son, has life; whoever rejects the Son, rejects life."
I think that is a good way sum up this.

Going Home

I just got to thinking about the bridge in Minnesota that fell during rush hour 2 weeks ago. What if one of us would have been there, or been one of the victims. Life can come so fast at us. Remember there is no tomorrow. Stop for a minute, reflect on your life.

Where are you? I'm not talking about, at home or work. I'm talking about life, Eternal life. My hearts go out to the family's that lost loved ones. What if? is a strong thought, but what if you would have been there? If you were driving home today or later and the world come to a end. People every second of the day deal with this question. Where will we go from here? There is only two places you can go from this earth. To Heaven or Hades(Hell). Stop and ponder this.

My life was a wreck before a became friends with my Savior. As I tell people" I lived one HELL of a life" but that life is dead. I have a new life, a life of happiness. I don't seek the world, I seek the Kingdom. We all have a chance to have a great life, life. For so many, when the gate is closed, it will be to late. So if you was to die NOW, where would you go? Just because when you was 12 you prayed the prayer. That doesn't mean you're in. Jesus says" Keep my commandments." Let me ask you another question, If Jesus was standing beside you right now, Would you acted different? Would you not take that drink, or have sex with that other person besides your spouse? Would you take that item from work? Would you? Would you? Would you? Let me tell you, Jesus is beside you. Everything you do, he is beside you.

Let me talk to those who don't no where. 1st Cry out to Jesus, ask for forgiveness and salvation of your sins, 2nd Go to Church, if you don't have one, find one. Talk to the Pastor about ways to change your lifestyle. They can help you go through a eternal life change. 3rd Talk to God and read his word.

Jesus died for you so you could live, but you can only live if "Keep his commandments."

So what if you were on that bridge? Would you go Home?

How close is your walk?

How close is your walk?

This past Sunday I went to a gospel singing at a Church I attended when I was young. There was a young man around 16? that sung a old song that got me thinking of this. We all need "Just a closer walk with thee" In Deuteronomy 13:4 it says "You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him." That very plainly tells how to serve God, but do we? Many people hear the Word but they don't listen.

Read the words to this song. Let them set on your heart.

JUST A CLOSER WALK WITH THEE

I am weak, but Thou art strong;
Jesus, keep me from all wrong;
I'll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Precious Jesus, hear my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Through this world of toil and snares,
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Precious Jesus, hear my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

When my feeble life is o'er,
Time for me will be no more;
Guide me gently, safely o'er
To Thy kingdom shore, to Thy shore.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Precious Jesus, hear my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

If you continue to read in Deuteronomy it will tell you why you should have a closer walk with the.(I will put the context at the end for those who would like to read it.) Many people stray from god, they lose strength because of the wickedness snares of the devil. We are weak, but if we turn to the strong. He will take the pains, suffering, and fears away, because He is strong. The devil does not have a chance against God. Life is not all about us, It is all about God the Father, Jesus the son of man, and the Holy spirit. Most people have heard God described as the Alpha and the Omega. We need to understand that he was in the beginning and is the end. We need to realize the short time we are on this earth is just the beginning of our life. That the life we live in now is not to be about me, it's about him. It is about eternity.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Precious Jesus, hear my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Here is the chapter for further study, God Bless
Deuteronomy 13
1 “If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, 2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’ 3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. 5 But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage, to entice you from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk. So you shall put away the evil from your midst.
6 “If your brother, the son of your mother, your son or your daughter, the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, secretly entices you, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods,’ which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers, 7 of the gods of the people which are all around you, near to you or far off from you, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth, 8 you shall not consent to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him or conceal him; 9 but you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. 10 And you shall stone him with stones until he dies, because he sought to entice you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 11 So all Israel shall hear and fear, and not again do such wickedness as this among you.
12 “If you hear someone in one of your cities, which the LORD your God gives you to dwell in, saying, 13 ‘Corrupt men have gone out from among you and enticed the inhabitants of their city, saying, “Let us go and serve other gods”’—which you have not known— 14 then you shall inquire, search out, and ask diligently. And if it is indeed true and certain that such an abomination was committed among you, 15 you shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying it, all that is in it and its livestock—with the edge of the sword. 16 And you shall gather all its plunder into the middle of the street, and completely burn with fire the city and all its plunder, for the LORD your God. It shall be a heap forever; it shall not be built again. 17 So none of the accursed things shall remain in your hand, that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of His anger and show you mercy, have compassion on you and multiply you, just as He swore to your fathers, 18 because you have listened to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep all His commandments which I command you today, to do what is right in the eyes of the LORD your God.

The perfect garden

A Perfect Garden

One day as I was walking, I started thinking about my life. I started day dreaming , I saw a Small narrow gate down a rough path. As I got closer I saw a arch of flowers over the gate. I opened the gate and walked into this Garden , the Son was shinning down with this orange glow on all the beautiful flowers. You could smell the amazing scent of the most freshest roses. As I got closer to them, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The stems were as straight as a arrow, without thorns. The petals was the most pure red (like blood). I bent down to touch one of the blooms and it was as soft as the finest silk. I wanted to pick it and take it home with me, but it was so beautiful I didn’t want to hurt it. I looked around and all I could see was beauty. Everything was placed just perfectly.

That’s when I noticed I was just at the beginning. I saw a stone path that was going into the garden farther. I followed the path trying to absorb the beauty around me but it was to much to handle. How could someone make something so perfect? I saw a stone bench under a tree from afar. I walked over and sat down. I started contemplating other gardens I have seen in my life. People try all kinds of things to make a pretty garden, so people would say it’s so pretty. They will put in fountains, statues, bird baths, ponds, water falls, stone walls, trees and shrubs, the list could go on. They watch all kinds of gardening shows on HGTV, buy books to get ideas. We spend tons of money, but it’s still not perfect. But, This garden looked as if it had been here forever. There was not one out of place plant. The grass was the darkest green you could imagine.

The stone raised beds looked like they were formed on the spot. Thats when it dawned on me, the tree was the focal point. It was also the center of the garden. Everything in the garden was there to accent the tree. It had the most ripest fruit ever. I reached up and took one off and bit in. It was the sweetest taste I have ever had. It was like a power drink. I felt so energized afterwards. Yum-Yum. I felt 10 years younger. For a garden of this size, it must take hundreds of people to keep it up. There was not ONE WEED in the garden. Words truly can’t describe this garden. Only the hand of God could make something so perfect, then it hit me, I was in heaven’s garden.

This just part of something I'm working on from Matthew 13. Just thought I would share with you.
God Bless

Success in Life

Success in Life

When every person starts there life, it is as a baby. Straight from the mother’s womb. With there first breathe they start learning. They learn how to drink, eat, communicate(cry for something), laugh and so on. As they get a little older they learn to talk an read. When they get to about 5 years old they start school, what a milestone. For the next 12 - 20 years or so they go to school. They learn all they need to know to be Doctors, Lawyer, Nurse, School teachers, Pastors and so on, the list could go on for days. The world tells us the more we know the better off. A simple diploma that takes 12 years to get just ain’t good enough anymore, it doesn’t cut it. They over look you just poured out 12 years of your life 8 hours a day to get it. Most employers want college experience. I do understand it for a lot of jobs you need special training. But the more you know want give you success in life.

Sometimes your looks may be the answer. Like a model, they have flawless skin tones( most have something on to help), a nice figure( with a strict diet and exercise plan), or the hair that turn everyone around for that second look(once again you can change hat also) but that's not what I care about. This is there lifestyle. They have been blessed by God with a beautiful appearance. But looks can kill, but once again the way you look want give you success in life.

I think the most important is who you know. Thank of it this way, if your dad is the owner, you got a good chance of one day taking over the family business no matter what you look like or how much you know. Lets look at it this way, if you have friends or family that work for a company and they put in a good word, you got a better chance. This is got to be to most important, because if you know someone you can have success in life. You could have been the biggest drunk, whore, murderer, homosexual or whatever. If you you know that someone you can have that life. You can have it and I know the connection to get you there. Jesus is that person. That is the only way to have success is through Jesus. So after all it is who you know.

You can be the riches person in the world, or the best lawyer, or the sexiest actor on the big screen. That doesn’t matter. It’s all about who you know. You have the old saying that you can’t take it with you when you die, that wrong everything you do and have you will take it, in front of Jesus on judgment day. Let me tell you something. Jesus is the King of ALL Kings. There is no other story that is bigger, greater, more powerful, or better then the one of Jesus Christ. If you know him you will succeed in life, Eternal life. You will have the riches, no job on earth will give that except, a disciple and devoted servant to the King Jesus Christ and his Kingdom. Romans 6:23b says “ the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Think about it? It’s a gift from God , you don’t have to go to school, or look good, it’s all about who you know.

Blood Brothers

Blood Brothers

I remember when I was a child and you wanted to be blood brothers with you best friends. You would wait for that perfect time when you wrecked your bike or got hurt and you would try to rub scabs together to be blood brothers. Or you might have been brave enough to stick or cut yourselves and rub the blood together. This sounds very unsafe and a little gross, but this happened all the time. People at one time was not scared of the blood of someone else. Now Satan has made all these viruses such as HIV and others that makes people scared. See the one thing that can save your life is the blood, your blood is the most important thing in your body, But Satan makes people scared of it. That is his way of confusing us into think The Blood is bad. Without The Blood you will DIE. Christ gave his blood for us, we are his blood brothers. He poured out his blood so we could have life, Pure life, eternal life, abundant life.

Ephesians 1:7 says, In whom we have redemption through his BLOOD, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of grace.(NKJV)

Through his Blood, his Blood. You can have the glory of his kingdom, but only through the Blood. The devil hates when you talk about the Blood of Christ, because he can try to destroy the thought of the Blood but he can't destroy it. The Blood is more powerful then anything. That why he is trying to destroy the way we look at blood. By Disease.

Disease in the webster's student dictionary 2002 edition

Disease- Any disturbed or abnormal condition in the living organism. A specific ailment or illness.

See if Satan makes you think of diseases when you think of blood, it might make your thought of The blood of Christ change. Satan know he will lose the battle and will be cast into the lake of fire, it tells us in revelations 20:10. I love that verse, because you can just remind him and it will tick the devil off, but who cares.

In the book Via Triumphalis by Brian Zahnd he says " Revelation twenty ten. You don't even have to quote it- the devil knows what it says. It will ruin his day. I like to say, " the devil can't win because of Revelation 20:10!"

Talk about a come back when he does something to you. This country needs to go back to times when we were not scared of the blood of each other an The Blood of Christ. When Christ poured out his blood he was thinking of you. It was pure. He died for us so we could live, that blood runs through our veins. As the song goes there is pow'r, pow'r wonder working pow'r in the Blood of the lamb. That power is to heal, and give you eternal life. You don't have to go to the doctor, or Walgreens. It's simple ask and you shall receive. Christ is waiting for you, there is nothing more precious then the Blood of Christ. Don't be afraid because it will change your life.

Quick Sand

A couple weeks ago my wife went out of town for several days. Me a Bit went and got a couple movies at Wollyworld. One of them was The Replacements. Some of the things in the movie could have been left out if it was up to me. In the movie Jimmy McGinty (Gene Hackman) asked the players what was there biggest fear? Shane Falco (Keanu Reeves) said quick sand. He went on to explain. "You think everything is going fine, then one thing goes wrong, then another, and another, and you try to fight back, but the harder you fight the deeper you sink, To you can't move, you can't breathe, because your in over your head, like quick sand."Life without Christ is like quick sand. As you venture through life things just keep piling up, no were to turn, deeper and deeper, like quick sand.

On day Bob woke up not feeling good, so he called in sick. The next week when he got paid he did not receive pay for the day he missed due to the fact he had no sick time. He had several bills to pay including rent. He didn't have enough money to pay the electric bill so on Sunday they turned off the lights. On Monday Bob didn't have his alarm clock so he woke up late.He rushed out. He was speeding to work when a Cop pulled him over. After the officer gave him a BIG ticket, he was on his way again. Now he was really late. To make up time he started speeding again, BAM. Bob ran unto two cars at a red light. Finally he got to work 3 hours late in a taxi, because his car was totaled out. The company said that was his last straw and fired him, quick sand.

Sometimes life can be like this. You think everything and everybody is against you. No matter what you do it just keeps getting worst. This makes me think of the old children's song The wise man built his house upon the ROCK(Christ). Matthew chapter 7 if you want to read. A lot of people are the foolish man in this parable. Like me, I built my life on the sand(the world). I just kept sinking and sinking and sinking. I was sinking into the world but luckily before I was completely covered I felt something solid. It felt like concrete. I found what I longed for a solid foundation. I found Christ. This is my way to turn quick sand into concrete. You take all your problems and failures and give them to Christ as your Rock and savior. If you stand on the word of God, the world want destroy you. Trust me this will make the devil really ticked off and he will attack with all his might. But God will protect, the Rock will stand. You will have struggles but God will deliver you from it.

Recipe:

1-person(you)
1,000's of problems
1- evil world
add living water = A strong foundation

God is that foundation. You can't buy this at Home depot or Lowes, it doesn't even cost you anything, it free. The price was paid for on the cross. It's up to you to decide if you want quick sand or the Rock.

without or with

Are you without or with?

Psalms 28

1 I pray to you, O Lord, my rock.
Do not turn a deaf ear to me.
For if you are silent,
I might as well give up and die.

Without God I am nothing, I will fall to the tainted world.

2 Listen to my prayer for mercy
as I cry out to you for help,
as I lift my hands toward your holy sanctuary.

I call on You with open arms, like a child who wants there daddy, help me,hold me.

3 Do not drag me away with the wicked—
with those who do evil—
those who speak friendly words to their neighbors
while planning evil in their hearts.

Don't let me be like the world who lives for themselves and not for You.

4 Give them the punishment they so richly deserve!
Measure it out in proportion to their wickedness.
Pay them back for all their evil deeds!
Give them a taste of what they have done to others.

Just give them what they deserve.

5 They care nothing for what the Lord has done
or for what his hands have made.
So he will tear them down,
and they will never be rebuilt!

They don't do anything for the kingdom, destroy them and there works.

6 Praise the Lord!
For he has heard my cry for mercy.

You heard me when I called out for you, Amen.

7 The Lord is my strength and shield.
I trust him with all my heart.
He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.
I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

You are everything to me, you protect me and carry me. I thank you with all my heart with my love song to you.

8 The Lord gives his people strength.
He is a safe fortress for his anointed king.

You turn the weak strong, and protect us from evil because we are part of your kingdom.

9 Save your people!
Bless Israel, your special possession.
Lead them like a shepherd,
and carry them in your arms forever.

You protect your sheep like a good herder does. The wolf can't attack because you have
a stronghold on us. You put us behind your fence and stand guard at the gate. You have gave us the ultimate gift, the inheritance of the kingdom, the good grass to feed on.

With God on your side is how most people would look at it. What about with God in front, the front line. If you have God as your front line of protection you will not get destroyed. Thank like this for. Without God is like playing Football without pads or a helmet when everyone else has them on; or if you was the quarterback and God is the front line, you would get creamed every time if there was no line of protection. Most of the time the quarterback is the smallest man on the team, minus the kicker, but what do they do, just kidding. Guess who are the biggest on the team? the front line, you got it. That's what kind of protection I want.

Without God you would be this tiny little quarterback with no pads or helmet looking up at 11 big guys thats about to stomp a mud hole in you. What is better? Having God with you in life or without. David describes this in Psalms 28. The first 5 verses is without and the next 4 is with.

Psalms 28 6-7a

Praise the Lord!
For he has heard my cry for mercy.

The Lord is my strength and shield.
I trust him with all my heart.

That's what I'm talking about, Praise the Lord!

Independence day is over, or is it?

We celebrate America's freedom once a year, but how often do you celebrate your freedom from America's lust. We have freedom everyday from everything because of Jesus Christ carried our cross, hung there for us, and died for you and me just so we could have freedom. America was formed 231 years ago where we could have freedom to worship God. Every year all over America we raise our flag to honor the men who died for our freedom, and I think we should. BUT, I think we should do something else everyday, that is raise our cross to honor the Man who died for us, so we all could be free from everything. Jesus had a Passion to go to the cross for us almost 2000 years ago. That's our Independence day.

I opened up the service Sunday with this topic. I think most people have heard Lee greenwood's song
God Bless The U.S.A. the chorus says: But I would like to change a few words around.

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

But I would like to change a few words around.

And I'm proud to be an American(you could also change this to a Christian because that is what American originally was),
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the Man who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend Him still today.
Cause there ain't no doubt He loves this land,
God blessed the USA.

So no disrespect for our soldier's who risk there lives everyday for mine and your freedom. But Christ paid the price for us to live forever with Peace and love. So start celebrating Independence day everyday. I'm so proud to say I'm an American but more so I'm proud to say I'M A CHRISTIAN.

God Blessed

God is always there it's just up to you to take his hand, and ask for that hug. Open up to God, he already knows what you are going to say, but he waits for you to invite him. Do we really know how to Praise God

Do you know how to Praise the Lord? I just didn't get it until I started watching my Son. I would sing and lift my hands, but I really didn't see the full picture. Gabrian is 2 1/2 years old. He knows how to truly Praise the Lord. He doesn't care what the world thinks, he is just spending time with his Heavenly Father.

When I watch him I see something that is real. He puts his hands in the air, runs around, jumps up and down, singing(a lot of the time in tongues), shaking his head from side to side, clapping, and I think to myself, 'he doesn't hold back.' He doesn't care what you think, it's not about us. He has the Father-Son relationship we all long for. This is his time with God. I finally realize it's not when or for how long you worship, it's how you worship. Is your heart ready for true worship? Do you long for a intimacy that is stronger than of a Husband and Wife? I have learned a lot from my Son. I was 27 years old before I met God. I have played around with Church, but hey you've got to go somewhere till the malls open. My Son at 2 1/2 years old got it before me on how to worship, because I was 30 years old before I saw real worship. I have seen other adults and said 'that can't be real'( just to name a few- Micheal and Mary of Nebraska, some of the crazy people from WOLC in St. Jo, and some from my Church NLCC (Rockwood) in Nashville ). God bless them. They had something that I thought was strange but really it was something I longed for. I just didn't think my Son would lead me.

Psalms 149:1-3
1 Praise the LORD!

Sing to the LORD a new song,
And His praise in the assembly of saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3 Let them praise His name with the dance;
Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.

I believe those are my Son's verses. Me or my Wife can put on some music, or a Hillsong kids worship DVD, or Veggie Tales CD or DVD, and my Son will jump up and sing his song to God.
When me and my Wife join in it gets loud, it's awesome.

He is only 2 1/2, and as we teach him, he also teaches us. You probably have heard the phrase, He is a Man or Women of God. I now think that phrase is wrong, we are Children of God, when we are down, sad, or in need we call out DADDY. So when we are worshiping God we call out DADDY. We are his kids and He loves us more than I love my Son, and that might be hard to bite, because I love my Son more than words can describe. God loves you.

Every child has a hero, but I have found that Jesus is my son's hero.

Who's in my Seat

Who’s in my Seat

Have you ever noticed that when you go to a ball game, concert, etc., you wonder if someone has your seat or who will sit beside you. Or, when you're at the movies if that one guy's phone is going to keep ringing - or the one couple that talks all the way through is going to be behind you. You always want to sit in the back where you can see it all. It’s like you have the best seats in the house, Luxury, Comfort. When the theater was first introduced the worst seats, the poor, commoners, were in the back.

I think I figured it out. If you sit in the back, you can get up when you want to go potty, and best of all leave out first. It’s like a race to see who can get out first. I see this in the Church now. We all sit as far back as we can. Is it to get out first? Is your heart that hard that you can’t sit there for 30 minutes? 1 hour? Or is it so that you get up ever 30 minutes. When the first Churches were started, people would STAND ALL DAY just to hear the Gospel. What's wrong with this picture? IT’S THE SAME GOSPEL. We have just gotten to comfortable in this day & time. We don’t know what real worship is. Do we even need our Bible anymore? Most would say 'No, they project it on the screens.' Why? How have we gotten this way? Why? God is just as powerful now as he has always been. When I’m in the main service( I teach God’s wonderful word to the Children) I like to sit up at the front. Why? I don’t want to miss anything.

When you go to the movies, you will get there 25 minutes early. Why? To get a good seat, but yet we come to Church 25 minutes late and settle for whatever is left which is usually up front. This bothers me, as you can tell if your still reading this. If you ask someone as they are walking in the door of the Church why they are here, the answer you will get is to hear the Word of God. We come once a week to a nice A/C building with nice seats and toilet paper- don’t laugh. Do you think the people of Corinth cared about this? Well, I guess there probably was not a such thing as this. They came for one thing, to hear the WORD. They would wiggle their way to the front just to make sure they could hear.

The church today is this beautiful building with A/C, comfortable chairs, coffee machines, child care services, bookstores, and all kinds of things. WRONG! The Church is YOU! The building is useless with out the body. Let’s get back to that old time religion, not of our grandparents but of Paul, Peter, Silas, Philip, and Barnabas, when the important thing was Christ.

Follow and Flow

I'm a bondservant4christ and an Armor Bearer for man, a Godly man. I am faithful to my Savior Jesus Christ the all mighty and loyal to my Pastor (Shane). The word says Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ Ephesians 6:5 (NKJV). In the book God's Armor Bearer Vol 1 by Terry Nance he said "I learned a secret which has helped to flow in harmony with my Pastor. I determined that if the end result of my pastor's plan is to build and extend the Kingdom of God and win souls for Jesus, then I am willing to flow with the plan. Our goal is the same, our methods different. But what does it really matter whose methods are used, as long as the goal is reached?" STOP and think about that for a minute, pray about it.

That is what God has called me to do. Have you ever wondered why there are so many denominations in the Church? Maybe it is because the Armor Bearer chose to lead instead of follow. I have a denomination/ doctrine also, it is Jesus Christ,NO OTHER. But that's another subject we'll cover later. I choose to follow, but flow also. Have you ever watched the water go down the river after a storm? If the water hits a log it goes around it, if it hits a rock it goes over it, As a Christian, Bondservant, Armor Bearer that is what I will do. Even if it's not the path you would have chosen doesn't mean it want work. I will follow and flow. What would the world be like if Christians would follow and flow?

Hot Chicken for Jesus

HOT CHICKEN FOR JESUS

Revelation 2:3-4 (NLT)
3 You have patiently suffered for me without quitting. 4 But I have this complaint against you. You don't love me or each other as you did at first!
Matthew 24:10-13
10 And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. 11 And many false prophets will appear and will lead many people astray. 12 Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. 13 But those who endure to the end will be saved.

Some people are like hot chicken for Jesus. They are on fire for a while, then they cool off. They still eat chicken but just not the hot stuff. It’s the same way with Jesus. You get in heavy at first, devoting your life completely, but then you fall away. You still go to church, listen to Christian music, go to church activities, and hang out with Christian friends, but you have lost your fire. Some people will be led astray by sin. Others will lose the fire. Some stop going to church, and others will lose their faith. Some are Sunday morning Christians. Others only like to eat hot chicken every month or so. Some eat it only once or twice a year. Some people go to church every time the doors are open, they just don’t live for Jesus. We need to help them get the fire back.

Their are 4 types of chicken eaters. (1st-Extra hot) First, there is the every day eater, the one who just doesn’t want the fire to go out. They feed it daily to get the most they can get. They tell every one they know about the hot chicken, and how to get some. They can’t get enough of it. This is our goal as Christians to be the best that we can. To stay on fire for Jesus. To live our lives daily with JESUS at the top of our list. If you put Him first then you will always have the fire. They’re lots of water fountains in the world just waiting to cool you down. You just need to make your friendship with Jesus stronger where no fountain can cool you down.

The (2nd Hot)second type is the weekly eater. They like the the heat but it does burn a little so they don’t eat as much. They still let people know about it but not as much as extra hot people do. They slip up and take the world’s water in to help with the pain. Then they see what they are doing and eat more. Alot of people are like this. They do good at the first of the week then the fire starts to go out. They think they can have just a small drink of water. Some times they may even take a drink, but for the most part they let the fire burn. There are alot of Christians who are weekly eaters, with prayer and spending time with Jesus, Putting hot sauce on your chicken will get the fire going again.

(3rd Medium) The third type is monthly eaters. They’re just sitting around watching television, listening to the radio, etc. and something makes them want some chicken. Then they go and get it. They really like it, but it hurts a lot so they let some of it go to waste. They only talk about it when someone else brings it up. They like it enough to go get it. They think that if they eat the hot chicken it will hurt to much. They think people will make fun of them when they cry when the eat it. They know that they should eat it daily. Some of there friends may be telling them not to eat it. In their hearts they know what is right. They just need some help. They are so close to eating more or less. We just need to pray that they eat more. Let them know the more you eat the better it will taste.

(4th Mild) Finally there is the yearly eater. They only eat it so others can see them do it. They really don’t even want to eat it but they feel they should. If someone asks if they like hot chicken and where do they go to get it they will say their home church. Most of the regulars don’t even know them. Or they use to go there years ago but now just on Easter, Mothers day, etc. They have decided the world is were their heart is. Sin has most likely over run their life. Even if they eat chicken once a year, they’re not to crazy about it. Maybe someone asks them to go, or they just went on their own. If they are not living their life for Jesus they need help. Every one needs prayer but this person needs as much as we can give them. They are pretty much lost to the world. We need to encorage them to come to church. Tell them how wonderful it is to know Jeus as your friend. A friend who is always there to listen to you.

God wants you to always be on fire and never lose it. Keep the fire burning at all times, where no bread or milk will cool it down. (ask Artie, he knows about hot chicken). Even though its hot now it will cool down if you let it. So if you know your love for chicken is fading, eat more chicken. God will take away the pain of the world’s chicken.

The devil will work on you if you let him. Don’t let the devil be your bread. Make him your napkin, wipe all the bad and yucky stuff on it and throw it away. The devil can only cool you down if you let him. Don’t let the fire go out, if our fire goes out for Jesus just eat another piece and that will get it going. Stop and turn back towards the light. Give all of you to Jesus all the time. God loves us always but if you give it all to Him he will take your pain away. Keep the Passion burning for Him, not for a while like hot chicken, but always. Do as the advertisement for Chick filet says “EAT MORE CHICKEN”

Saving the world one click at a time

I have been lead by the Holy Spirit to tackle the Internet, mainly myspace. There 175,000,000 people plus on myspace. It's full of trash, the world,Lucifer. My calling is to change that, one click at a time.

If Christians would search the area they live and invite them to Church we could win the world to Christ, one click at a time. I started over a week ago, one click at a time, emailing people in my area, 250+ by now. Just asking them a simple question, Do you have a home Church you attend? The key word is attend. I have had many of them write me back.

I am trying to outreach the area to grow my Church but mainly the Kingdom, one click at a time. Lets win the world for Christ, I have found my way to start, one click at a time. I would like to see if you will join me, one click at a time, to reach the lost. Lets tell them the Gospel for the first time or remind them of his Passion for us, one click at a time. I have found my place, one click at a time on myspace for Christ.

If Christians worked like Ants

Have you ever watched how ants work? The main goal they have is to go out and find food. If they find something really good, they take it straight to the queen. They can work together as a team or solo. It doesn’t matter how hard the job is or how dangerous it is they still go out to gather.

If Christians went out every day with other Christians or alone to share the gospel without fear just imagine what we could do.

You can smash the ants, more will come. You can spray, and still they keep coming. Have you ever thought to yourself I've got an ant problem? I have. What if the world said we have a Christian problem they won't back down. I can’t wait till I turn on the T.V. to find the news saying 'It looks like the Christians have done it again.' If we go out into the world like the ant we can spread the gospel everywhere.

When an ant finds something good they take it to their queen, from now on when you find something good take it to the KING. Proverbs 6:6 Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise. Do you want to be the ant or the sluggard?

Direct connect to God

Have you ever been walking in the mall and you here a chirp? A nextel phone makes a chirp when someone direct connects them. By the push of a button you can call someone anywhere in the world on a walkie talkie. Technology ain't it something? You know you can call God the Father the same way, by prayer. Prayer is our phone service to Jesus. You know one thing about it is you never lose your signal. You will never have to say 'Can you here me now?' God hears everything. You have the best service plan ever with not only free nights and weekends but unlimited minutes. You could tarry for hours.

Some plans have the IN program, are you in? I am the day I took up the cross. I took out a lifetime contract. I got a new phone. Every day I find a new function on it but its wonderful because God is my tech support 24/7. Better yet, get down on your knees and ask God for your contract. Its free
